How does a Virtual Visit Work?

What do I need for my Virtual Visit with Santa?

For the best connection with Santa, you will need:

• a high-speed internet connection

• a computer, cell phone, or tablet with a camera, speaker, and microphone.

• the Zoom App downloaded onto your device. You do not need a Zoom account to log into your Virtual Santa Claus Visit. If you do have a Zoom account, of course, you can use it.

• you will need your confirmation email with your Zoom meeting passcode and Meeting ID.

How early should I log in for my session?

We suggest that you log in 10 minutes before your session to make sure your video and sound are working correctly.

Where can I download the Zoom App?

How does the virtual experience work?

The virtual experience is made possible by Zoom. You will receive an email with a link and a passcode. At the designated time, log in just as you would to a Zoom call. After the call, you can request a recording of your visit for $10. You can also pre-purchase your Virtual Visit Recording.

Install ZOOM on your device well before your scheduled appointment to ensure there are no connection issues during your visit that will cut into your time with Santa. Click here to download the Zoom App or click the link in your confirmation email.

Will my Santa visit be private?

Yes, your meeting with Santa will be private. Your confirmation email will have a unique-to-you Meeting ID and Passcode that only you and Santa can access. If you want to read about Zoom's privacy and security measures, go here.

How long is a virtual visit?

Santa visits range between 5 – 15 minutes depending on the package purchased and longer if there are more than 5 Children. Meetings more than 20 minutes long and with more than five children require more planning. Please contact Santa directly to coordinate your Virtual Visit.

What kind of bandwidth do I need?

For best results, please make sure you have a high-speed broadband or wifi connection.

Can I personalize my Santa Visit?

Absolutely yes! You can request that Santa and his helpers ask specific questions during your visit.

To personalize your visit, please fill out the questionnaire included in your confirmation email. Please send your responses back to us within at least 48 hours of your visit so we can make sure Santa has all the information he needs for your child's visit. The questionnaire includes questions like; Name, age, what he/she wants for Christmas, and any other fun facts you might like to add to make the experience a personal and memorable one to last a lifetime!

How many children can be on a virtual visit with Santa?

A virtual visit can include up to 3 children from the same family in one household. If you want more than 3 children to attend your virtual visit, Please add 5 minutes for every 2 children. Will I receive a video of my visit from Santa?

You will have the option to receive a recording of your visit. We will capture and preserve your magical visit with Santa for you to download and share year after year. Let us know at check out if you want a recording of your Virtual Santa Claus Visit.

What will Santa do during my visit?

Depending on the package you purchased, Santa will ask the following questions:

• Have you have been good this year?

• What do you want for Christmas?

• What's your favorite part of Christmas?

Other activities you can coordinate and plan for your visit. These activities will require more time with Santa depending on how many children are present and how many activities you want to do.

• "Question and Answer Session" with Santa & Children

• Sing a Long with Santa. Choose from popular holiday songs like Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bells, or Santa Claus is Coming to Town

• Santa Reads a Night Before Christmas

Santa Charles can also pre-arrange a "Toy Delivery" where the parent or guardian will leave a special toy outside the front door or under the tree, and the children can open their gifts with Santa.
